Probably Malcolm X since he is one of my biggest ideological influences, and I aim to be his autistic equivalent--he might have been as well--since I don't need "leaders" who think they know what's best for my demographic like the retarded supremacists in charge of Ass-AN (ASAN). 1. How far back can you trace your family tree?
About three generations.

2. What is the most interesting (or strange) thing you've heard about one of your relatives?
My dad's younger sister is actually a half-sister, as my late paternal grandmother was a real swinger.

3. How do you feel about legacy names like John Henry Smith IV or naming children after other relatives?
Fine by me. My mom sucked at naming me and my siblings despite having a shitload of aunts and uncles and gave us all naggy names (any first name that's more than two syllables to me qualifies as such and is really sing-songy).

4. Would you consider yourself and/or your family to be traditional?
My parents are real dinosaurs but my siblings and I are sort of mostly more in with the times, and I don't really give a flying fuck about tradition anymore, even if some of my views are hardline.

5. What is one tradition you have passed on to your children and/or plan to pass on to them?
I'm not having children since I would rather my cursed autistic bloodline die with me. I don't fucking care. Jesus, Popes, Dalai Lamas, Mother Teresa, and whatnot, were single, and they did perfectly fine.

I'm fine with it, but I find it really naggy as I find names with more than two syllables to be. Remy is short for Jeremy, but I've never been called Remy by anyone in my immediate family.

Nothing else.

Gerald Edgar, after my paternal grandmother (Geraldine) and maternal grandfather, and Jodie Ellen, after my paternal half-aunt, with Ellen being a middle name passed down through my mother's side of my family.

4) If you had a band, what would you name it, and why?
Remy's Raver's, maybe?

5) Is there a name that you completely hate? Why?
Hillary, for obviously reasons.

People who inspired me and didn't traumatize me like my asshole family and countless cyberbullies.

1. Take a book you've read. Now take the main character and put them in a band. What would the band's name be?

The Malcolm X-Men.

2. What instrument would that character play?

I dunno, the guitar, maybe? He'd be the lead singer, as well.

3. Who else would be in that band?

Other blacks of his time who agreed with his message (for the record, he more preached hate of whites, not violence against them, and that blacks should defend themselves against white violence "by any means necessary), definitely not mainstream "leaders" like MLK Jr. or Rosa Parks since he was right about racial integration making them more vulnerable to exploitation by whites and that racism and sordid conditions were just as present, if not more so than, in the North where his grew up every bit as they were in the South, which is where mainstream civil rights leaders and their white liberal allies (and he's really critical of them) put their primary focus.

4. Would they stay underground or get popular?

They'd probably stay underground since X would be the target of dozens of assassination plots and ultimately be killed.

5. Why did you choose that book?

I haven't finished it, but it's constantly made me say, "Damn, this N-word's on fucking fire!"

Definitely a bucket-list autobiography, and it'll definitely be one of my far-longer book reviews.

Yes.

I wasn't aware there were any elections in my state (Texas) last year.

No, since I think it should only be up to registered party members to to decide their respective parties' candidates, ideally through a single ranked voting / instant runoff system so there's no need for presidential candidates to have circuses in selective states across the country and shit.

4. Do you plan to vote in the November 2024 election?
Hell yes.

5. Do you vote early, by mail, in person, or some other way?
I vote early at my town's polling place.

1. Are you and your birth family close?
Not really, I'm pretty much estranged from them due to all the hell they put me through the past forty years of my life.

2. How far away do you live from your various family members?
My parents and younger brother live in town, my older sister and her family live several towns over, and my older brother lives in East Texas.

3. When was the last time you visited with relatives?
This afternoon, I dropped by my old home, my parents' place, to get the rare piece of mail I still get there.

4. Do your relatives travel to visit you?
No, thankfully, and until they sincerely apologize for all the shit they put me through during my life, my apartment is off-limits to them.

5. How do you stay in touch with family: phone calls, email, snail mail, texts, other?
Mostly text since I can't stand the sound of their voices.
