The Friday Five, 2/7/2025
This week's
thefridayfive:
1. Of the various cultures, ethnicities or nationalities you belong to, which most strongly do you consider yourself?
Probably German, since I'm really passionate about things and consider myself a bit of a "nazi" in many regards like video games.
2. Is there a culture you cannot claim heritage from but which you feel quite close to?
Maybe Switzerland, since I want to live in peace and stay the hell out of worldly affairs.
3. What's one language you wish you knew fluently?
Probably Spanish since I live in Texas and it would open my job opportunities.
4. If you could move anywhere in the world and be guaranteed a job, etc., where would you go?
Maybe The Netherlands since it has a ton of perks like 90%+ of the population speaking English, being culturally and religiously tolerant, crime not being a problem to the point where they've had to close prisons, good jobs in most fields across the country, and high income with medium cost of living.
5. If you had a time machine, and could witness any one event without altering or disturbing it, what would you want to see?
The crucifixion of Jesus, maybe.
