I've definitely had my ups and downs, but repeatedly reading this article on Cracked on why the Dark Side in Star Wars isn't all that bad really cheers me up, making many intelligent points while also being very fucking funny.

And saying that "light and dark" and "white and black" are equal to "good and evil" is sort of...racist as well.

Light and dark need to balance each other out, similar to day and night. And a lot of bad things can happen during either of the latter two.
