Chrono Trigger

I got the stone needed to repair the Masamune, whatever it's called, in the prehistoric era.

Fantasian

After pissing away countless hours grinding, only to get slaughtered by that stupid wolf-summoning boss again, I decided I had enough, canceled my Apple Arcade subscription, and will eventually write a "deep look" of the game, which, needless to say, won't be very positive, but I'll try my best not to be a dick about it.

Grandia

Finished the spirit mountain or whatever it's called and had to hoof my way back down. Yay for no warp magic or items! Still enjoy grinding weapons and elements, though.

Also, expect my Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster review within the next few hours, and I'll work on a Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection deep look as well, which will definitely be far more positive.

This is kind of off-topic, but have you ever played Hyper Light Drifter? I'm interested in getting it and not bothering to wait for a Steam sale or anything.

This is the first time I've heard of it, so no, I haven't. I looked it up on GameFAQs and saw that its difficulty is above-average, and I don't know if I want to try it, since 99.99% of the time whenever I play games that are "hard," it's usually due to poor design or cheap tricks on part of the developers, which doesn't really sit well with me, even more so given my current mental instability.

Never heard of these games, I'm guessing that they are for the Steam deck? I still have to play Violet, I am still flummoxed about which storyline to follow, do you have a suggestion dear Remy?

Chrono Trigger was most recently ported to Steam Deck and I'm playing that version. The previous version released was on iOS/Android. The Grandia HD Collection is available on Nintendo Switch, and I'm playing the first game on that system. Fantasian is an Apple Arcade exclusive, but...I definitely wouldn't recommend it, and I immediately canceled my Apple Arcade subscription since I couldn't stomach it to the point of completing it. All the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters (for the first six games in the series) are available on both PlayStation 4 (the versions I played) and Nintendo Switch, with the PS4/Switch ports having nifty new features like "Boosts" to increase/decrease the difficulty, and I highly recommend them.

As for Violet, I enjoyed it but have really never found the stories of the Pokémon series to be particularly engaging, since it seems that once you've experienced one of the games' plots, you've experienced them all.

I am going to get Lets Go Eevee, Diamond (the remake.. I have the original already), Shield and maybe Scarlet. All in June/July/August.
