This artist I commissioned on FurAffinity constantly complains about people not commissioning her (and said commission hasn't been completed yet, and she got so far as a few initial sketches a few months back) or commenting on or faving her work, and as always, I'm really afraid to say anything or ask for updates on my art (and I certainly don't want to pay anymore since I already spent $100+ on her work), since I'm afraid saying anything to her, even if politely, will piss her off and jinx my commission, maybe result in her refunding me (though likely not fully since she had, as mentioned, made visible progress on said art). I know not all anthro artists are this way, and there's one I will definitely ask in a few days or so on Twitter since she hasn't shown any progress since I commissioned her before Lent (during which I gave up buying anthro art, and I won't buy anymore since I fear my forthcoming dental visit cost will be astronomical, given the unpredictability of that crap), but I know she's definitely a good person, and has followed through in the past.
